We have to be careful about labels because of their ability to define reality, but at the same time it's how we communicate in this world. So let's walk through the title.
Modern: we're living in a fast changing world. Thus, our experiences need to be understood through this lens.
Dad: my life right now is dominated by my role as dad to four kids early elementary through high school
Mystic: this word carries different meanings to many. I'm using it in the context of being one who explores the spiritual mysteries (i.e., the spiritual nature of all things).
Let's talk about this combined point of view: that of a modern dad mystic.
